Nordica Product Feeds by Variegata Nordica · Updated 3 November 2026
Who we are
Nordica Product Feeds is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). It turns a store’s products into feeds for Google Shopping, Facebook & Instagram and Pinterest. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@nordica-apps.com.
What the app stores
- Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
- Your choices: the countries you picked and the three feed options.
- Your feeds: product titles, descriptions, prices, images, barcodes and links, the same public product information your store shows. They sit at links with a random part, so only someone you give the link to can fetch them.
- When a channel fetched a feed (the channel’s name and time), so the app can show it.
- Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and technical error reports.
The app reads no orders and no customers. It stores no customer data of any kind.
If you connect Google Merchant Center
Connecting is optional. When you connect, you sign in with Google and allow the app to use your Merchant Center account (Google’s “content” permission). The app then:
- Stores your Merchant Center account number, the email address of the Google account you signed in with (so the app can show which account is connected) and Google’s access token, encrypted. No Google password and no other Google data.
- Reads the problems Google reports on your products, to show them in the app in plain words.
- Adds your feed links to your Merchant Center account as product sources, once you press “Add my feeds” (and after that, the feeds of countries you add later). It changes nothing else in your account.
Data from Google is used only to show these problems and add your feeds. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with anyone else and never used to train AI models. Nordica Product Feeds’ use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
“Disconnect” in the app cancels the token with Google and deletes it at once. You can also remove the app’s access at any time in your Google account (Security → Third-party apps).
Who processes the data
Cloudflare hosts the app, its database and the feed files, under Cloudflare’s data processing terms. Shopify provides the product data and handles billing. The channels you add a link to (Google, Meta, Pinterest) fetch your feed under their own terms. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
Each feed is replaced by the next update. When you uninstall, your sign-in data is deleted at once; 48 hours later your feeds, choices and everything else are deleted, and the links stop working.
